FRAYED NERVES

RUSTON LAWSUIT is getting noticed receiving prominent attention in the Town Council meeting 9-15-08. Dan A. appeared very upset at the LAWSUIT blog. We will attempt to tell it like it is especially at costs to the Town that appear unrelated to Town interests.

I have been distracted but will provide documents, dollar amounts, expenditures, et al. But the shortage of help in the Town's office is making replys to PRRs (Public Records Requests) painfully slow and backlogged making it difficult to get any information on legal costs and expenditures.

One point of interest the doubling of costs on the Point Defiance Casino request for a delay in imposing the death tax on the Casino, Special Legal Counsel David Britton refusing to stipulate to a 3-1 council vote on the 600 percent tax increase. It will have to be reheard in October.
